Adults in the Workplace are Just Grown Up Kids

Screen Shot 2016-03-10 at 1.55.33 PMI am excited to travel to the city of Burley tomorrow to give a presentation for their corporate wellness program. The topic?  How to eat more fruits and veggies.  The employees of the city of Burley will be embarking on a challenge to eat more fruits and veggies in the coming weeks. My job is to educate, but most importantly INSPIRE.

I have living and breathing “eating a rainbow” in these past weeks and months as I continue to work on my upcoming book, Give it a Go, Eat a Rainbow.  Stay tuned for more information about this amazing book that I hope both kids and adults will enjoy!

When asked about handouts for tomorrow’s presentation, I pulled some of my favorite go-to resources from my work with Nurture. After all, when it comes to workplace wellness, aren’t adults at work just kids (once in school) that have grown up? I think so, and the wellness team agreed. Here are the handouts we’re using:

Eat More Fruits and Veggies

Nurture’s Recipe Framework (Grains: Lunches and Dinners)
(I’ll be doing a cooking demo making a variation on this dish- Tabouli)
