Free Class: 3 Ingredients for a Powerful Book

I am thrilled to share this 1-hour class that I did with Carol Kline, 5x #1 NYT bestselling author. Carol was part of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books in the ‘90s and early 2000s. Then, as she says, she “graduated” to writing self-help books with motivational speakers and transformational leaders.

I call Carol the Queen of Clarity because she has the secret sauce to gaining clarity on a book project. She knows how to take a message, how to get it on paper, and how to best get the book that’s in your heart out to the world.

Carol and I are both huge fans of the law of attraction. We think that you were attracted to read this post for a reason!

Perhaps you are here because you have a powerful message that you would like to share with the world. One of the best ways to do that is with a transformational book.

We teach in this class, specific to transformational books:

Gaining Clarity on Your Message. Einstein said that if you can’t explain something simply, you don’t understand it well enough. So your first job as a writer is to get clear about what it is that you want to share. We know that sounds a little simplistic. But it is very powerful to stop and sit back and say, “What do I want people to take away from my book”?

Storytelling. Storytelling is your writer’s mojo. It is what makes the audience engage with you. It’s what helps people to remember your content. It’s what helps you to create a connection, especially an emotional connection.

Creating a powerful title and subtitle.  People do judge a book by the cover, and they also judge it by the title and the subtitle. We talk about how important that is and how you can create your own title and subtitle with a powerful formula.

We hope you enjoy our free class!
