Author Power ON – The Writer’s Toolkit

When I published my first book in 2015, I firmly placed two feet in a new world.

This new place, what I refer to in my book Look Before You Leap as “the wild world of publishing,” is one of the most bizarre and difficult industries I’ve ever navigated.

My 25 years of experience in business, including working for a multinational corporation, a decade in management consulting, and another decade as the founder and executive director of a high-growth nonprofit, did not prepare me to write, distribute, and market a book.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I stood there with my fresh-off-the-press book, looking like a deer in the headlights with a stupid grin on my face. I was a published author!

Over the coming years and through several more published books, that grin had been contorted into many expressions.

But I have given up the wide-eyed Bambi look. No longer the frozen deer, I am now an experienced journey-woman who can navigate through the wild countryside with precision and finely tuned senses.

I have immersed myself in author groups, participated in various mastermind sessions, attended and spoken at publishing industry conferences, presented onstage at the Book Expo of America, and conducted hundreds of interviews with authors and aspiring authors.

I wanted to learn everything I could about the publishing industry so that I could protect myself—and later others, like you— from some creepy stuff going on in the industry. That “creepy” diagnosis felt weird at first to me, the positive psychology lady who comes from a place of innate trust that all is well in the world and within people.

I have heard nightmare stories and even witnessed a few personal breakdowns. I have been angered by the deception to which some of my author friends have been subjected. I have slapped myself in the head when I have fallen for a stupid, money-draining trap myself.

Now, when I see something that is a good investment, I like to share it with my community.

It’s called the Writer’s Toolkit.

The Writer’s Toolkit is a digital collection of training and tools to help you improve your writing and finally achieve your writing goals.

This is the 1st year for the Writer’s Toolkit, but every bundle created by Ultimate Bundles has been better than the last, AND it’s crammed full of more value than you can imagine.  It includes a class I did with 5x #1 NYT bestselling author Carol Kline, and the bundle also includes my Make Publishing Fun and Profitable course.

The first step is to learn more in a FREE webinar:  5 ways to become a more productive writer with Marion Roach Smith

A sought-after author and writing coach who has learned how to productively write, Marion will teach:

  • The secret to developing a daily writing habit
  • How to keep writing on days when you feel stuck
  • Why productive writing starts with a simple algorithm
  • What you must do before you start writing anything
  • How to end every writing session to set yourself up for success

Catch her on either Thursday, June 3rd at 11 am Eastern or Friday, June 4th at 4 pm Eastern.

This Toolkit has been curated to give you a comprehensive writing education that will grow with you as you hit each writing milestone — at a price that’s too good to miss. Get your own toolkit on June 7 -11 ET for only $97.

Don’t be a deer in the headlights. Get your author power on, and consider standing on the shoulders of giants who have come before you rather than having to do your writing/publishing journey all alone.  And have FUN!
