Without marketing, you have no business.
Marketing starts the conversation, nurtures the connection, and when done well, leads to opportunities to make sales.
The success of a business is dependent on great marketing and consistent sales.
But oh, the agony with so many marketing tactics to choose from! “Which one is best for my business?” you ask. And “How much time should I be spending on marketing? What about online vs. offline, in-person marketing, referrals, ads, software, automation vs. the personal touch — HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO DO?” you cry.
Breathe. Sip the tea or adult beverage and read on. 🙂
The answers to these questions and more will be provided during The Great Marketing Debate Virtual Online Summit, and I’m excited to be a part of this event.
You see, I’ve been in that place of questioning, trying tactics and strategies and not getting the return I wanted. Early on in my business I would send out an email and hear nothing back. I’d offer a product and sell nothing, or way less than I wanted.
There is more than one answer — but the most important one is this: I wasn’t matching up the marketing tactic with what would work for my business and brand at the time. Who knew? I didn’t know who to trust to learn how to craft a winning email or killer landing page. I thought I had strategy but in reality, I just kept trying things hoping I’d hit on the right one. Through trying and failing, trying and having some success, and getting expert help, I mastered marketing — and you can too.
This event can shorten the learning curve and time it will take. It’s why the host of the event, my colleague and friend Gregory Anne Cox, gathered a stellar line up of experts (including little ol' me) to teach you how to use their particular tactic, what’s working now, and what kind of business it would be good for.
The topics you’ll be learning about include but are not limited to:
- Email marketing
- Social media
- Book marketing
- Direct sales strategies
- …and much more
If you want help with any of those tactics, need a firmer grasp on marketing strategy, or want an introduction to some of the important online tactics today, join us for The Great Marketing Debate. It runs from October 30th through November 10, 2017. There will be two interviews per day plus a short video productivity tip. Most everyone struggles to be as productive as we know we can. These little videos will help.
Even though you will be getting thousands of dollars worth of expert advice and a free gift from each speaker, the event is free, no charge, no nada.
In order for you to get the most out of the summit, Gregory has created a speaker topics one sheet. It includes the calendar of interviews and the three things that speaker will cover. This means you will always know when a speaker is appearing so you don’t miss the ones that most resonate with you.
But that’s not all you’ll get, of course.
By attending these video trainings and putting into action the right things for your business right now, you’ll be moving the needle on your marketing results. And when you do marketing better, you do your business better.
Remember, marketing drives sales, and sales means more ice cream—or wine—depending on your preferences and time of day, for you.
Enjoy! Kathryn 🙂
