1. Go FIRST where most books are sold (Amazon)
2. Make sure that your advanced readers are your target market (so that Amazon will market to the right people)
3. Avoid spending thousands on publicity in one huge chunk (you’ll likely not get a return on that investment)
4. Instead, use small on-going investments to “seed the market” to build word of mouth buzz about your book. Examples Honorée gave us include leaving “loaner copies” in offices, leaving your book in coffee shops, using stamps — through Zazzle –sending out postcards and giving away bookmarks.
