In this episode, I have Paige Roberts back as a repeat guest on brain wellness, this time to focus on QEEG assessments and interventions such as photobiomodulation to improve brain health.
This interview is part of a series of interviews that I’ve been doing a modality called Brainspotting (a modality that I’m frankly obsessed with and now certified in). Paige’s first interview was Episode 66 on this podcast.
For more information about Brainspotting, please see www.brainspotting.com. Brainspotting is the work of Dr. David Grand.
The timing of this episode coincided with the release of an episode on Dave Asprey’s podcast, Bulletproof Radio, where he interviewed Paul Sorbo from the Wavi team. Check out that podcast as well!
For more information about Paige see below.
The mantras from the episode are as follows:
Mantra #1: Performance Wellness coaching is about empowering you, not to scare you.
Mantra #2: QEEG testing/results can be a positive incentive to start or boost interventions to improve brain health.
(Here is a picture of what the Wavi looks like):
Mantra #3: QEEG can potentially connect us to the universe (Paige discusses how brain waves align with the frequencies of planets in our solar system).
Mantra #4: Interventions that can be healing to the brain include: 1) earthing, 2) drinking more water, 3) better nutrition, 4) movement, 5) proper sleep, 6) protection from/reduction of exposure to EMFs, and 7) photobiomodulation.
Mantra #5: Photobiomodulation seems like magic, but it is science. See this study about the effect of photo bio modulation on Veterans with TBIs.
