Start With Strengths and Focus on "Energy" as the Key Currency for Successful Workplace Wellness Programs

What a wonderful gathering this morning at the Employer Advisory Council at St.  Luke’s in Twin Falls, Idaho.  I presented for about an hour on “Workplace Wellness that Works:  Starting with Strengths”.

We had a lot of fun, and I was excited to meet an entire room full of new friends! 🙂

We went through a few tips on how to get started on a plan for well-being, discussing the work of workplace wellness heroes such as Laura Putnam, Beth Cabrera and Nick Gionoulis.  (See below for links to interviews I have done with each of these workplace wellness heroes).

If you want to see all of the tips from the presentation, even those we didn’t get to, please see the presentation here:1_KKG_6_10_16_Presentation

I will follow up with some of the additional resources that will complement the presentation.

Strengths Assessment: Visit this link for more information.

Laura Putnam: Workplace Wellness that Works.  See this post and listen to my interview with Laura.

Beth Cabrera: Beyond HappySee this post and listen to my interview with Beth.

Nick Gianoulis: The Fun Department. See this post and listen to my interview with Nick.

Everyone was REALLY excited about my upcoming book, Give It a Go, Eat a Rainbow.  Good news!  I am optimistic about being able to establish a pub date (publication date) of June 14, 2016.  That is next week!  Please stay tuned for more information on Amazon.

Here is a great printout for the “flat Blake”.  Enjoy! School Blake Page

Permission slip: Folks, you all need an official permission slip to say “no” to volunteer things that don't fit with your strengths. I gave you permission orally, but if you need it in written format, here you go! 🙂

After the presentation I spoke with an attendee that was interested in more information about the Losada Line.  Here you go!

Please stay in touch!  Contact me at any time. Thanks, Kathryn
